Report: Lakers' Barnes arrested

09/09/2010 - Sacramento, CA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Los Angeles Lakers forward Matt Barnes has reportedly been arrested for a domestic violence charge and obstructing the use of a telephone line.

According to the Sacramento Bee, Barnes was booked into Sacramento County Main Jail Wednesday night following a physical confrontation with a woman believed to be his girlfriend.

The story states Barnes prevented her from talking to 911 operators and both had visible injuries. According to the newspaper, Barnes posted a $50,000 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

The Lakers signed Barnes this offseason to a two-year contract.
